Laurel and Floren – The Wedding

19 December 2009

You’ve all met Laurel and Floren in their Engagement Session and now here’s the wedding!  Laurel and Floren tied the knot on September 13th at Hyde Park in Santa Fe.  Hyde is a really beautiful location that often seems to go unnoticed so I hope this blog entry will encourage other couples to consider getting married here.

To Laurel and Floren, thank you so much for making me a part of your special day!

Introducing Barbra and Melissa

19 December 2009

I just love Barbra and Melissa, they are the sweetest couple!   This session was shot on July 21st in the Bosque.  Due to the impending cloudburst I shot this session in about 10 minutes and sure enough the downpour started while we were walking back to the car.  Stay tuned, Barbra and Melissa had a spectacular wedding at the Prairie Star on October 17th, more pictures to follow!

Introducing Laurel and Floren

19 December 2009

Here’s the thing about Laurel and Floren; Laurel loves photos and Floren, well, he loves Laurel.   Floren is not very comfortable with the whole idea of being photographed so this session was short and sweet.  We shot a few images walking down Corrales Road near the Dry Heat Gallery and then cruised over to the Bosque.  This session was on August 16th.  Stay tuned! Laurel and Floren tied the knot on Septemeber 13th at Hyde Park in Santa Fe and that is the blog entry I’m going to work on next!

Introducing Michelle and Justin

19 December 2009

Well technically I suppose you could say that I’ve already introduced Michelle and Justin since I blogged their wedding prior to the Engagement Session. This session was an all day outing on July 30th at the Salman Raspberry Ranch in Las Vegas, NM. Rick, Kristina and myself all piled into the Element and hit the road. None of us had ever been to this location before so we wanted to get there before Michelle and Justin to look around and figure out where we were going to shoot. The raspberry ranch turned out to be pretty scenic and was well worth the trip!

On the way out of town we found this cool old church.  The following photos were shot on my iPhone.
