Sara and Mike – The Wedding

19 January 2010

You’ve all already seen Sara and Mike in their Post Wedding Session in the Jemez and now you can view their entire wedding album including all the photos they selected from the wedding and a few from Sara’s Bridal Session at the Convent At El Zocalo. Sara and Mike tied the knot on September 26th at Madeleine’s Place in Corrales, NM.

To Sara and Mike, thank you so much for making me a part of your special day!

Erin and Dan – After the Wedding

4 January 2010

I’m doing things a little backwards here with this blog entry.  See, I shot Dan and Erin’s engagement session back in September and their wedding in October.  The session we have here was at the end of November.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful but gale force winds at the hacienda in the mountains made the wedding day pictures, well, interesting.  We ended up doing this post wedding session at the convent at El Zocalo.  We had a great session despite the wind (again).   So without further ado, I’d like to introduce you all to Erin and Dan.  Thanks, Erin and Dan for making me a part of your special day.  I had a great time with you two.

For the session at El Zocalo, we moved their Christmas decorations out of the way and replaced them with decorations from Erin and Dan’s wedding.  And get this, Erin made all the decorations, how cool is that.

Introducing Taylor and Cameron

26 March 2009

0114rsb

I shot Taylor and Cameron’s engagement photos in the bosque a couple weeks back.  It’s still such a great place to shoot.  There are also a couple images from a session we did at El Zocalo.  Cameron brought his motorcycle to El Zocalo, unfortunately it started to sprinkle as we were doing the shots with the bike.   At least it cleared up by the time he had to ride back, riding a motorcycle in the rain is such a drag.

Thanks a lot you two, I’m looking forward to the wedding.

Laura McConaghy – The Bridal Session

27 August 2008

Laura’s bridal session was on 20th and was the third bridal session at the Convent for the week. Laura’s dress has a wonderfully huge train which we put to good use as you will see. Laura and Greg will be tying the knot next month at St. John’s Episcopal Church and Four Hills Country Club.

27 August 2008

As promised – here come all the sessions from the past couple weeks! Francine’s bridal session was on August 18 at the Convent at El Zocalo in Bernalillo. We shot three sessions there this week so they are thinking about setting up some cots for us in the back. Just kidding 8-) As you can see Francine is lovely! She and Casey will be having their Engagement Session tomorrow and their wedding in late September at the Hotel Albuquerque.

Brittany Johnson – The Bridal Session

24 June 2008

Dry Heat Photography is proud to present the lovely Brittany! On Wednesday we revisited the Convent at El Zocalo to shoot this bridal session. Brittany Johnson, as some of you may recall, was the very first bride to book her wedding with us. She is the one that started it all. This sitting was a blast, with several of Brittany’s family members (including her sister Brook, whose wedding I shot under a different name a year ago) looking on there was plenty of lively conversation – and extra hands to help move furniture!

Once again we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our clients! It is you guys that make Dry Heat Photography a reality and to the Convent at El Zocalo for letting us run amok in their awesome building!
