The Jellison Family

26 January 2012

DeAnna and I have been photographing Peggy and Patrick and their family for the past few years. Every time we meet up for family portraits, I have a blast. They make the job easy and fun. I don’t know what else to say other than, Peggy and Patrick, thanks for being awesome, you guys rock!

Family Portraits with Sonya, Patrick and Aiden

26 December 2011

This family portrait session was on October 29th in the Bosque. We didn’t realize it when we booked the session but Rick actually shot Sonya and Patrick’s wedding back in 2007 when we worked at a different studio.  Small world!

Schaub Family Portraits

10 January 2011

In a case of super small world I went to high school with both Melanie and Eddie.  In an effort to conceal our ages I won’t say what year we all graduated ;) but it was a pretty long time ago.  As you can see, Melanie and Eddie now have 3 children!  Eddie’s family owns the most enchanting little farm out near the base of the Manzano Mountains and not all that far from where I grew up in Meadow Lake.  An abundance of fruit trees grow on this land and we came home with pocket fulls of amazingly delicious apples.  Incidentally, manzano is the Spanish word for apple-tree and there are actually several commercial apple orchards in the Manzano Mountains.

This session was on November 21st and you almost can’t tell in the photos but it was really cold and windy.  Big thanks to the Schaub family for being troopers and toughin’ it out with us!

You can see the aforementioned apples hanging in the tree above their heads.
