You’ve all met Barbra and Melissa before in the Engagement Session and now here is the wedding!  Barbra and Melissa were married on October 17th at the Prairie Star Restaurant in Bernalillo.  I know they did a lot of homework when it came to selecting their wedding photographer and I was truly honored to be part of this event.

Annemarie and Mark were married at the Prairie Star in September. (I’m a bit tardy on blogging but better late than never.) This wedding was so much fun!  I met Annemarie over a year ago, she was one of the first weddings I booked.  I have since shot her brother Adam’s wedding as well.  Believe me, this family is a blast.  (Keep your eyes peeled for Adam and Misty’s blog entry coming soon).  As always the Prairie Star was wonderful and Jim Gross from Carousel of Music took care of the tunes.  It’s always good to get to hear a bit of live music.  It’s so nice when everything comes together and makes for a great wedding.  I really can’t say enough how much fun these folks were.

You’ve all seen Danielle and Jonathan in their Engagement Session and now here’s the big day! October 19th at the Prairie Star – total perfection! These blog entries keep getting longer and longer so it may take a moment for the photos to load. Be patient, it’s worth the wait. These guys are so awesome and I’m so glad they chose me to photograph their wedding. This was my forth of four weddings this weekend and I am just so grateful for all my awesome clients!

Revival of the Lensbaby

I’ve been looking forward to Amber and Michael’s wedding for a long time. I knew from the first day I met them that it would be an awesome wedding and I was so excited that they chose me to photograph it!  Imagine…October 25th at the Prairie Star.  What could be better than that? Seriously? Plus they had an all star team; Rebecca Chaney from the Prairie Star coordinating,  Rob from Distracted By Decor in charge of turning the banquet room into a wedding wonder land, flowers by The Flower Gallery, Jim Gross from Carousel Of Music rippin’ it up in his live guitar set and DJ-ing the dance later as well, and, you know, me – DeAnna from Dry Heat Photography.

A Special Message From The Bride And Groom. This was their idea, honest. But it still makes me laugh.

Laurie and Sean were married on August 24th at the Prairie Star Restaurant in Bernalillo. You’ve all seen them before in their Engagement Session and Laurie’s Bridal Session As always, the Prairie Star delivers fantastic views and excellent dinner . Justin Johnson from Complete Music was in charge the evening’s entertainment and everyone had a great time. I love these kind of spectacular Sunday weddings.

Well, it finally happened; Brittany and Chase tied the knot at the Prairie Star on July 19th! This was such a great wedding! Of course from my perspective I gauge a wedding on how good the photos are and to reiterate – such a great wedding! One of the hardest things is deciding which images to use in the Blog. With over 1300 proofs it is practically impossible to narrow it down to such a small handful and I think there are still over 20 images in this blog entry.

As always I greatly appreciate our Dry Heat clients and would like to offer my sincere thanks to Brittany and Chase for making me a part of their special day!
