Kim and Jake’s wedding at the Prairie Star
One of our favorite things is to shoot multiple weddings for the same family. To us, there is no greater compliment than when the sister of one of our past brides calls and says “we already know we want you to shoot the wedding.” If you’re a die hard fan of our blog then you may remember an awesome wedding from a few years back, Jen and Eddie. Kim is Jen’s sister.
Kim and Jake were married at the Prairie Star on August 13th. You know, sometimes the weather here in New Mexico does funny things and some folks might let that deter them from having an outdoor wedding or, more specifically, from having a fun outdoor wedding. Some photographers might see storm clouds rolling in and want to go sit in the corner and cry. Well, that’s not how we roll. Kim and Jake were cool as can be, Rebecca (coordinator extraordinaire at the Prairie Star) made a few adjustments and we broke out the umbrellas. No thunderstorm is going to stand between us and happy clients!
Persistence and a calm, positive attitude really paid off on this day and, as you can see, the wedding was fabulous!
